In the summer of that year, twenty-year-old François Zatloukal was travelling from Brno-Židenice in Moravia (now part of the Czech Republic) when he was startled by something in the sky. It was between nine and ten in the evening when he saw six objects at high altitude resembling fiery red stars. They seemed to be under intelligent control, because they flew in an elliptical orbit in a clockwise direction. After six to eight minutes he continued on his journey.
