Ten days [after the Oloron-Ste-Marie incident] the same kind of event occurred 140 miles to the northwest, at Gaillac in the département of Tarn. This time a leviathan, its outer surface wreathed in what looked like wisps of cloud, stood on end for ten minutes over the town, surrounded by sixteen saucers. Again angel hair fell. The “cloud-cigar” was also sighted by observers at a meteorological station at Brives-Charensac, who saw it remain motionless for half a minute before moving off. At the same time they observed a silvery metallic disc that crossed their sky towards the southeast.
(UFO Visitation, Watts)
100 witnesses observed a long cigar-shaped UFO tilted at a 45º angle. A plume of smoke emerged from the upper end. About ten pairs of disks accompanied the cylinder, flying in zigzag motions. Hovered over town. Large quantities of angels’ hair fell earthward.
