The witness, a British engineer working in Cape province, South Africa, had been driving up the Drakensteen Mountains in his car late at night when a man flagged him down and claimed he needed water. The man was under five feet (152 cm) tall, was bald with a domed head and spoke in a strange accent. The witness offered to drive him to a nearby mountain stream.
On returning the man to the original point, the witness saw a disc-shaped craft. The “man” invited him inside the object and showed him that he needed water because one of his colleagues had burned himself. When the witness asked the entity where he came from the entity pointed at the sky and said “From there!”
