One of the most elaborate, and most prophetic, claims concerning retrieved alien bodies and crashed saucers surfaced on tape-recordings made by William S English in the early 1980s…
English‘s version of his story, as told in interviews with the author, is this. In May 1970 he was an officer with US Army special forces in Vietnam. His A-team was sent to locate a Boeing B-52 Stratofortress bomber that had crashed in dense jungle in Laos, and if possible to rescue the crew. The B-52 had come down after a hostile encounter with a UFO, described as a “large white light”.
(UFO: The Government Files, Brookesmith)
Communications had been received from the B-52 before it went down to the effect that it was “under attack by a UFO”.

English and his A-team located the B-52 by helicopter. It was lying among the trees “like a great big giant hand had grabbed it and just set it down” – there was no damage at all to either the aircraft, its bomb load, or the vegetation around it. All the crew were on board, in their seats, but hideously mutilated – although there was no blood anywhere. The team took dog tags from the corpses and removed the code books, then blew up the aircraft (still with its bombs on board), and left. Some weeks later most of the A-team were wiped out in an ambush. English was taken prisoner but killed his guard and escaped, and was found in the jungle by US forces.
