Istrana Air Base
A strategic area to the north and east of Venice, this is another region with plenty of UFO activity. Little news has filtered out about an incident at the Istrana Air Base in November 1973. However, the story has similarities with the landing at RAF Bentwaters in England, in that the observation was by security guards on the base perimeter, who reportedly saw a strange object on the ground and two small humanlike beings who were dressed in white coveralls. As if disturbed when spotted, they got into the object and it took off, but marks were later found on the ground where it was assumed that the UFO had landed. Intense secrecy enshrouded the incident.
