1949.12
In Tel Aviv in December 1949, the just four-year-old [Uri] Geller had an encounter with a UFO while playing in an abandoned garden opposite his home. Looking across a pool in the garden, he became aware of a [huge?] bowl-shaped object settling down out of the sky. It did not resemble any of the aeroplanes his father had shown him. Just as with Puharich in New York, the encounter gave the little boy a feeling of peace and beauty. However, there suddenly appeared what Geller described as a “shadowy giant” with no arms or legs. From the “head” of the uncanny entity came a blinding ray of light that struck the boy so forcibly that he was knocked over backwards and fell into a deep sleep [trance?] that lasted several hours.
